Terms of Use — FoodPulse

    Summary: FoodPulse is a food discovery community. By joining, you agree to share authentic food experiences, treat all members with respect, and follow our content standards. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a FoodPulse account or using any FoodPulse service (web, mobile, or API), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use FoodPulse. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CloudFran Technologies, Inc.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use FoodPulse. By using FoodPulse, you represent that you are 13 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Users under 18 must have parental consent.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions. FoodPulse reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Authentic Reviews

    FoodPulse is built on trust. You must only review restaurants and dishes you have personally visited and consumed. Fake, incentivized (unless clearly disclosed), or fabricated reviews are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination.

5. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on FoodPulse and will result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination:

🚫 Zero Tolerance — Immediate Permanent Ban

Religious abuse or discrimination — Content that mocks, demeans, or attacks any religion, faith, or belief system
Racial or ethnic discrimination — Racist language, slurs, stereotyping, or content that demeans any racial or ethnic group
Sexual content — Sexually explicit, suggestive, or pornographic content of any kind
Content involving minors — Any inappropriate content involving or targeting children
Hate speech — Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
Threats or harassment — Threats of violence, stalking, doxxing, or targeted harassment of individuals or groups
Terrorist content — Content that promotes, glorifies, or supports terrorism or violent extremism

⚠️ Serious Violations — Account Suspension or Ban

Solicitation or spam — Unsolicited commercial messages, pyramid schemes, MLM promotion, or repetitive promotional content
Fake reviews — Reviewing restaurants you have not visited, creating multiple accounts for fake reviews, or accepting payment for reviews without disclosure
Impersonation — Pretending to be another person, business, or public figure
Privacy violations — Posting private information about other individuals without consent
Intellectual property violations — Posting copyrighted content without permission
Coupon fraud — Attempting to redeem coupons fraudulently, sharing single-use codes, or abusing promotional offers
Automated posting — Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to post reviews or interact with the platform
Coordinated inauthentic behavior — Working with others to artificially boost or suppress restaurant ratings

6. Content Standards

All content posted on FoodPulse must:

Be based on genuine personal experience with the food or restaurant
Be respectful of restaurant staff, owners, and other community members
Not contain personal information about private individuals
Be written in a language supported by the platform
Not contain excessive profanity or offensive language

7. AI Content Moderation

FoodPulse uses automated AI systems to review all submitted content including text and images. Content flagged by our AI system is reviewed by our moderation team. By submitting content, you consent to this automated review. Our AI systems screen for:

Hate speech, discrimination, and prohibited content categories
Spam patterns and inauthentic behavior signals
Inappropriate images including explicit content
Duplicate or artificially generated content

8. Image Content

Images you upload must be photographs you took yourself or have rights to share. Images must show food, drinks, restaurant ambiance, or related food experiences. The following image content is prohibited:

Images containing nudity or sexual content
Images depicting violence or gore
Images that identify or expose private individuals without consent
Copyrighted images you do not have rights to share
Digitally manipulated images intended to deceive

9. CloudFran Loyalty Program

FoodPulse offers optional enrollment in the CloudFran Loyalty Program. By enrolling, you earn points for reviews, Love Its, and community contributions redeemable for restaurant rewards. Loyalty program participation is voluntary and governed by separate CloudFran Loyalty Terms.

10. Coupons and Promotions

Coupons delivered through FoodPulse are subject to individual restaurant terms. Coupons are non-transferable unless explicitly stated, have expiration dates, and may not be combined with other offers. Fraudulent redemption attempts will result in account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

11. Termination

FoodPulse reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time for violations of these Terms. Grounds for immediate termination include but are not limited to:

Any Zero Tolerance violation listed in Section 5
Repeated violations of content standards
Fraudulent activity or coupon abuse
Providing false identity information
Actions that harm the FoodPulse community or platform integrity

Upon termination, your content may be removed and your access to coupons and loyalty rewards forfeited. There is no appeal process for Zero Tolerance violations.

12. Limitation of Liability

FoodPulse and CloudFran Technologies, Inc. are not responsible for the accuracy of user reviews, restaurant quality, or outcomes from acting on FoodPulse content. Restaurant information is user-generated and may not reflect current offerings. Always verify with restaurants directly.

13. Privacy

Your use of FoodPulse is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using FoodPulse, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of FoodPulse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
